My speeches

This term we were writing speeches on people we are inspired about I chose to do my speech with Blake my friend and we did Jimmy Butler

I chose Jimmy Butler because he had an inspirational life because he got kicked out of his home at 13 years old because his Mum thought he was to ugly. He was homeless as a 13 year old and all he did was playing basketball ball in the streets then finally he got picked to play in a high school team then Jimmy had his  first fan came up to him and challenged to a 3 point contest then jimmy went back to his fans house and the Mum of the fan heard he was homeless then she adopted him and jimmy got to live with her. But later on in life another challenged had to be overcame he was a un-recruited high school player but then one game selector Buzz Williams was looking at another player in Jimmy Butler team but then Buzz Williams told jimmy he sucked and then that made Jimmy work stronger and stronger then he finally got selected for a div 1 college team Marquette. The training Jimmy had to do was so hard it nearly made him quit but he wanted to keep on trying and trying then he finally got drafted for the Bulls as the 30th pick but now Jimmy is in the top 15 players in the league and he is playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves

I am looking forward to finding out why he persevered so much and never wanted to give up
